The Rode VXLR+ is a Minijack (3.5mm female TRS socket) to XLR Adaptor (male) with Power Convertor for Rode on-camera microphones including the VideoMicro and self-worn microphones such as the HS2 Headset Mic. The Convertor is capable of converting 12-48V Phantom Power down to 3-5V Plug-in-Power. This allows the aforementioned microphones to receive power from the XLR input. Additionally, the 3.5mm socket includes the same threaded connector as the HS2 Headset Microphone output cable or the RodeLink Filmmaker Kit Receiver.
