The NF-A15 is a quiet 140mm premium fan with round AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame and 120mm mounting holes (105mm hole distance). For an even higher cooling performance on current high-end CPU coolers, the width has been extended to 150mm and through advanced aerodynamic design measures such as flow acceleration channels the NF-A15 achieves a further improved silent performance compared to the award-winning NF-P14. The 120 mm mounting holes (105mm hole distance) make the NF-A15 also an ideal upgrade for housing or CPU fans in 120 mm format.Flow Acceleration ChannelsThe impeller of the NF-A15 is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels on the suction side. By accelerating the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, suction-side eddy solutions are reduced, resulting in higher efficiency and a lower turbulence-related noise emission.AAO frame systemNoctuas AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frames have integrated vibration buffers, a stepped inlet design and an internal surface microstructure (Inner Surface Microstructures) that enable even better performance/noise efficiency.Quilted inlet designThe stepped inlet area of the Stepped Inlet Design creates more turbulence in the supply.
